Innovation360 Fellowship
Where Innovation Thought Leaders Stand Together
A dedicated category on innovation360.com for keynote speakers, trainers, coaches, authors, academics and thought leaders who have completed IMBB. Not open to all — admission by application and senior review. Fellows gain exclusive access to InnoSurvey AI Insights, the only AI engine trained on the entire Innovation360 database.
Innovation360 Named in The Innovation Consulting Services Landscape
Forrester named Innovation360 in The Innovation Consulting Services Landscape, Q4 2025 — recognizing the firm's data-driven approach to innovation management consulting and its 10,000+ organization InnoSurvey® benchmark database.
A Tier Above. By Invitation. By Standard.
The Fellowship sits at the apex of the Innovation360 accreditation system. Below sit IMBA, IMYB, IMGB and IMBB — the path that builds Licensed Practitioners and Black Belts. The Fellowship is different. It is not a higher belt. It is a peer circle.
Fellows are recognized for thought leadership — IEEE papers, books, forewords written, courses taught, ISO contributions, podcasts, keynotes — and given the data, AI and platform to make that work go further.
InnoSurvey AI Insights — The Entire Database. At Your Question.
Other Licensed Practitioners use InnoSurvey® as a tool to assess individual clients. Fellows can do something no one else in the world can: ask analytical questions across the entire InnoSurvey database — 10,000+ organizations across 105 countries — and receive evidence-based, AI-mediated insights at the level of an entire field, country, or industry segment.
Always updated. AI-mediated. Citation-grade. Fellows use InnoSurvey AI Insights to produce IEEE papers, book chapters, keynote material, university lectures, online courses, and thought-leadership pieces that no competitor can match. This capability is exclusive to Fellows — and will not be offered to anyone outside the Fellowship, at any price.
- Ask analytical questions across the entire database — not single client assessments
- AI-mediated synthesis — top-quartile vs. median, by industry, region, capability cluster
- Citation-grade output — every insight traceable to source benchmarks
- Always-updated — new InnoSurvey responses flow into Insights continuously
Eight Benefits. One Annual Fee. All Included.

Books, IEEE Papers, ISO Standards and Forewords from the Field's Leading Voices
The Fellowship is not a marketing tier. It is a peer circle whose work is published, cited and endorsed by some of the most recognized names in innovation, business and science. Several Fellows are IEEE-published. Innovation360 books carry forewords from Philip Kotler, ESA astronaut Christer Fuglesang, LEGO Serious Play inventor Johan Roos, and 'Brain of the Year' Leif Edvinsson. Innovation360 is an active member of ISO/TC 279 since 2013 — and named in the Forrester Innovation Consulting Services Landscape Q4 2025.
When you become a Fellow you are not buying a credential. You are stepping into a peer group whose work is already part of the global record — and gaining the data, AI and platform to add your own contribution to it.

Faculty Eligibility
OptionalEligibility to deliver guest modules in IMBA, IMYB, IMGB and IMBB programmes. Co-teach with Magnus Penker and the senior faculty. Build your teaching record inside the framework.
Who Qualifies — and What Renewal Requires
The Fellowship is not open to all. Every candidate is screened by application and senior review. The bar is high by design — that is what protects the value for every Fellow.
Completed the IMBB programmeRequired▾
Fellows must have completed the Innovation Management Black Belt programme. The belt grading itself (peer-reviewed client cases + online exam) is not required — completion of the course is. This opens the Fellowship to keynote speakers, trainers, coaches, authors, academics and thought leaders whose work is thought leadership rather than client delivery.
Application & senior-team reviewScreened▾
Apply through the Fellowship contact form. The senior team reviews IMBB completion, thought-leadership record, and fit with the existing peer circle. The Fellowship is not open to all — every candidate is screened. Decisions are made by the senior team and not appealable.
Active thought-leadership recordRequired▾
Evidence of published or upcoming contribution: IEEE or peer-reviewed papers, books, book chapters, named courses, ISO working group contributions, keynote record, named curriculum at university or executive education level.
Active social-media presence with Innovation360Renewal Condition▾
Fellows must be visible on social media alongside Innovation360 and other Fellows — minimum quarterly contribution of posts, articles, podcasts or webinars referencing Innovation360 research, methodology, or other Fellows. This is what makes the Fellowship a peer circle, not a directory.
Annual contribution to the Fellowship body of workRenewal Condition▾
At least one substantive annual output linked to Innovation360 — a co-authored paper, a book chapter, a published course, an ISO contribution, a featured Innovation Circle, or a comparable artefact. Specific form is flexible; consistent contribution is not.
€5,000 per Year — All Inclusive · Annual Renewal
The Innovation360 Fellowship costs €5,000 per year. This includes your full €3,000 Licensed Practitioner renewal — so the incremental investment for Fellowship over standard LP membership is €2,000 per year. In return you receive InnoSurvey AI Insights access (exclusive to Fellows), public listing on innovation360.com in a dedicated Fellows category, the speaker and co-authorship platform, the LinkedIn Fellow badge and certificate, 20% off Black Belt Summit, and the peer circle of Fellows.
Upgrading from LP mid-year? If you are an active Licensed Practitioner upgrading to Fellowship mid-cycle, Innovation360 calculates the unused portion of your current LP subscription and credits it against your first Fellowship year. You never pay twice for the same period.
Three Individual Dimensions. One Organizational Tier. One Gateway.
Innovation360 measures four different things. Three of them apply to individuals — Belts (knowledge), Faculty (methodology) and Fellowship (thought leadership). The fourth — Partners — applies to organizations. Licensed Practitioner is the gateway to all of them. An individual can hold more than one — many Fellows are also Faculty.
Knowledge — Belts & Dan Grades
The belt path measures knowledge and applied mastery. IMBA opens the door. IMYB, IMGB and IMBB take the practitioner through ideation, strategy and full Black Belt mastery. Black Belt is not the end — it is the gateway to the Dan grades. 2nd, 3rd, 4th Dan and beyond mark deeper, peer-reviewed mastery — exactly as in martial arts.
- IMBA — Basic Accreditation
- IMYB — Yellow Belt (Ideation)
- IMGB — Green Belt (Strategy)
- IMBB — Black Belt (Mastery)
- 2nd Dan · 3rd Dan · 4th Dan and beyond
Methodology — Faculty
Faculty is the internal body that develops methodology and runs accreditations. Black Belts at 2nd Dan or higher can be elected into Faculty — exactly as in martial arts, where the higher Dan grades take responsibility for teaching, examining and evolving the discipline. Faculty work is internal: course design, grading panels, methodology updates, ISO contributions, IMBA to IMBB delivery.
- 2nd Dan Black Belt or higher required
- Elected by existing Faculty
- Develops Innovation360 methodology
- Runs IMBA, IMYB, IMGB, IMBB accreditations
- Grades belts and Dan promotions
Thought Leadership — Fellowship
Fellowship measures public thought leadership and commercial visibility — IEEE papers, books, ISO contributions, keynotes, taught courses, podcasts, commercial input, marketing and brand-building for the Innovation360 ecosystem. A separate dimension from the belts and from Faculty. Requires IMBB course completion as a knowledge threshold — belt grading not required.
- IMBB course completion required
- Belt grading not required
- Publication, scene, peer circle, AI Insights
- Commercial and marketing input to Innovation360
- Open to keynote speakers, trainers, coaches, authors and academics
An Individual Can Be in Both. Many Are.
Faculty and Fellowship measure different contributions. Faculty develops the methodology and runs accreditations internally. Fellowship builds the brand, the publications, the keynotes and the commercial visibility externally. The two run in parallel and are designed to be held together. A thought leader with IMBB course completion who publishes is Fellow only — no Dan grade required. A 2nd Dan or higher who teaches accreditations and publishes IEEE papers is both Faculty and Fellow. A 2nd Dan Black Belt who runs Innovation360 accreditations but does not publish publicly is Faculty only.
Partners is the separate axis — organizations, not individuals. Gold, Corporate, Educational and Training Partners are companies. A Partner organization typically employs Licensed Practitioners — some of whom hold belts, some Faculty seats, some Fellowships. The four dimensions interlock; they do not compete.
Licensed Practitioner — the Entry Point to Everything
You cannot enter any of the four dimensions without first becoming a Licensed Practitioner. LP is not a tier — it is the membership that unlocks the entire ecosystem. The belts are taken as a Licensed Practitioner. Faculty election requires active LP and 2nd Dan Black Belt minimum. Fellowship requires active LP membership (the €3,000 LP renewal is built into the €5,000 Fellowship fee). And Partner organizations are built on the LPs they employ.
That is why the Fellowship fee includes the LP renewal — you can never be a Fellow without also being an active Licensed Practitioner. The gateway never closes behind you.
- Apply for IMBA → become Licensed Practitioner
- Active LP unlocks the belt path — IMYB, IMGB, IMBB, and the Dan grades
- Active LP + 2nd Dan or higher is required for Faculty election
- Active LP is required for Fellowship (€3,000 LP renewal included in Fellowship fee)
- Partner organizations are built on their Licensed Practitioners
