Jay Porcano

Philadelphia, PA

Jay has a decided loyalty to quality work and positive impact in every organization he works with.

Through his diverse experiences he has defined methods that develop anti-fragile people and organizations. His methods drive people towards an attitude that embraces productive change despite the discomfort associated with uncertainty. Jay was a student at the infamous Navy Seal training program (BUD/S) where he learned to approach tasks with the utmost ferocity from some of the sharpest people in the United States military. Jay quickly learned that physical prowess is far from the only thing necessary to be successful at BUD/S, and subsequently gained a strong interest in psychology. After the Navy he shifted to academics and acquired his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Psychology. He is currently pursuing a M. Sc. through the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health (PNoMH) program at King’s College London. Jay works with startups and SMEs as a business consultant specializing in cultural change and innovation. Since leaving the Navy he founded a fitness startup and after a personal loss co-founded a family non-profit to raise awareness of child neglect. He hosted fundraising events in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Jay has a refined coaching style and applies his knowledge to empower individuals and teams to effectively achieve their goals with the same tenaciousness found in high performance teams.

Andrew also works as an independent consultant and has experience in biotech, pharma, ESG, and sustainability.
