Background:

Barath Roy Michel is a Project Coordinator with Humber College in the Office of Applied Research and Innovation. Barath works closely with various professors from different Schools to coordinate, monitor and track projects and the project deliverables. Some of the skill sets he possesses are data analytics and project management which enables him to corelate types of research at Humber with various Schools in Humber which provides an insight into strategic planning for the Research Office.
Barath is an immigrant from India and has worked with TVS Automobile Solutions (a family run automobile conglomerate) as a Human Resource Business Partner and has added value to the company’s initiatives in the Middle East (KSA) by creating Technical training and HR Safety manuals and completing an ethnography map of hired migrant workers. He later moved to a start-up, Proveer Finance & HR Solutions, to pursue a career in Consulting; working with SME’s understanding the grass root difficulties of businesses and providing solutions, insights and enabling businesses to identify new revenue streams.
