Dr Prakash Airani Kalathil

BACKGROUND:
Dr Prakash has over thirty years of experience in leading research and development in the automotive industry and other sectors. His primary expertise lies in designing and developing model-based algorithms, simulating systems, and implementing these solutions in embedded systems for hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as in hydraulics and aerospace applications. In the latter part of his career, he mainly focused on fostering innovation and promoting organic growth.
Dr Prakash is the founder of www.scicom.in, a startup that focuses on driving innovation and executive coaching. He is also a Professor of Practice at the College of Engineering, Pune, India. Additionally, he mentors research scholars pursuing PhDs and master’s degrees in engineering.
Dr Prakash holds a PhD in Control Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and has more than 30 publications in reputable conferences and journals. He also holds a patent and a trade secret.
Dr Prakash is a lifetime member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) India, the Optical Society of India, the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), the Indian Institute of Engineers, and a member of IEEE.
