Background:

Fawzieh Shahrour is the founder of Dream & Idea Consulting, based in Jordan. She has been a licensed 360 innovation practitioner since 2024 and is a certified Innovation Consultant and Assessor by the Global Innovation Institute and the Innovators DNA (USA). Additionally, she holds certification as a business excellence assessor by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) since 2013. With over 20 years of experience in the field of innovation and business excellence, Fawzieh has established herself as an expert in the industry.

Fawzieh has worked with various government agencies in the capacity of a senior consultant. For instance, she served as a Strategy Consultant with Fujairah Crown Prince Office. Additionally, as a lead consultant, she provided services such as conducting innovation maturity assessments for institutional innovation capabilities, designing innovation strategies, and establishing organizational innovation frameworks and systems for entities like Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization, and Community Development Authority.

As an assessor, Fawzieh has actively participated in numerous organizational awards and conducted various innovation maturity assessments. She has also delivered certified innovation training for many government agencies in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, enabling these organizations to obtain international accreditation as certified innovative entities.

Furthermore, in her role as an innovation consultant, Fawzieh has led various projects, including the design of organizational Innovation Management systems and frameworks, along with associated strategies and policies for different government agencies such as Sharjah Electricity, Water & Gas Authority, and Ajman Chamber between 2020 and 2023. She also spearheaded the Innovators DNA project for the Telecommunication and Digitalization Authority in the UAE.

Fawzieh’s career journey includes her work at the United Nations as a Staff Development and Performance Management Manager at UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) Headquarters in Amman, Jordan, from 2004 to 2016. In this capacity, she led the implementation of UNRWA’s new initiatives in staff development, change management, and the new performance management policy and systems.
