Cherokee Storyteller | Strategic Design Leader | Future Innovation Architect

Jack Roberts helps organizations author their next chapter through the intersection of indigenous storytelling wisdom and cutting-edge design thinking. As a Grand Jury Prize-winning filmmaker and Cherokee storyteller turned strategic design expert, Jack has spent 15+ years teaching companies how to see beyond their current reality and design the futures they want to inhabit.

Jack’s superpower? Applying cinematic narrative techniques honed through feature film and television production to help teams imagine scenarios that haven’t happened yet—and build the strategic pathways to make them real.

From revolutionizing healthcare delivery for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to co-creating the legacy framework for Dubai World Expo 2021, Jack facilitates transformation at the intersection where stories meet strategy. At GHD Global Engineering, Jack built an internal Design Center of Excellence from scratch, eliminating $1.2M in external costs while generating record-breaking business growth through narrative-driven innovation.

As faculty at Parsons School of Design and consultant to organizations like the United NationsAmerican Family Insurance, and BBVA, Jack has developed over 30 replicable workshop frameworks that teach teams to think in stories, design in systems, and innovate at scale.

Jack’s approach bridges three worlds:

  • Indigenous storytelling mastery: Cherokee narrative traditions and Grand Jury Prize-winning cinematic techniques that make complex futures tangible, compelling, and deeply human
  • Design thinking expertise: Human-centered methodologies that turn imagination into implementable innovation strategy
  • Strategic foresight: Scenario planning frameworks that help organizations prepare for multiple futures

Whether facilitating C-suite scenario planning sessions, designing innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 companies, or teaching teams to prototype their way into new realities, Jack brings a rare combination of creative vision and strategic rigor that helps organizations not just adapt to change—but author it.

Currently leading innovation initiatives across five continents while developing new frameworks for narrative-driven organizational transformation.
