Paulo Malta is Managing Partner at Innovsky and Innovation 360 Licensed Practitioner since 2015. He has 25 years
of professional experience and a strong track record in achieving business results in short, medium and long-term.
Specialized in the areas of Innovation Management, Business Model Innovation and Customer Experience
Innovation, Paulo uses methodologies like LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and Design Thinking in his projects and
workshops. This way, he manages to unlock the participants’ creativity and ensure a human-centered approach.
Paulo was Senior Advisor to the Minister of the Presidency and Administrative Modernization in the Portuguese
Government, having been responsible for driving Public Sector Innovation, ICT Strategy and the creation of
competency centers in the Legal and Digital areas. During that assignment, Paulo created LabX, the
experimentation Lab for the Portuguese Public Administration with the purpose of embedding an innovative
culture within the public administration.

During most of his career, Paulo worked for technological multinationals, like Cisco and Alcatel, building and
leading sales, pre-sales and consulting teams in several market sectors. He was awarded Cisco Chairman’s Club
and Alcatel President’s Club due to his performance and proven results.

Paulo’s background in Electrical and Computers Engineering is enriched by post-graduate degrees in Management
and in Investments & Financial Markets. This set of skills, in the areas of technology, management, and finance,
allows him to help companies innovate in their business models and take advantage of digital transformation.
He is an experienced public speaker and an innovator committed to making things happen. He provides
mentoring and coaching to start-ups, on a regular basis, in the areas of Management, Business Models, Business
Development and Team building.
